Having been students at Balliol College and cultivated the view that all that is great and good issues from Balliol, it was natural to want to showcase one of its best products.

We are both great admirers of Chris Patten and have attended many of his speeches in Oxford over the past few years.  We felt his views and analyses deserved a home on the web so as to reach the greatest possible readership.

Radhika Rathinasabapathy read Physics and Philosophy at Balliol.  She is now a trainee solicitor at a City law firm in London.     Fabien Curto Millet read Economics and Management at Balliol.  His internment at Oxford continues with his PhD in Economics, also at Balliol.
